Aims, Values and Equality

The MTCnovo vision is to be an innovative leader in the social and justice sectors delivering results through quality, responsibility and integrity. We make inclusion part of our culture. We ensure our services and employment are inclusive for the wide, diverse range of people we serve and employ.

Around half of all crime is committed by people who have already been through the criminal justice system. This costs the taxpayer up to £13 billion a year. We believe passionately in changing people's lives for the better. Our values define the way we work with our staff, service users, and the communities in which we serve.

Believe It or Not I Care

Our BIONIC philosophy underpins our mission and rehabilitation approach, creating an environment that is vital to success. Our BIONIC culture creates a supportive environment that shapes the desired behaviours of service users. Our BIONIC philosophy will be evident in all we do and will be supported by our Values: Integrity, Innovation, Responsibility and Excellence.

We believe that with the right support, supervision and care, everybody has the potential to change. In short, BIONIC promotes a 'A Caring Culture for Change.'

Our aim is to create a positive social impact in the community by providing opportunities for ex-offenders to change their behaviour and lifestyles, ultimately to reduce reoffending.

We aim for fairness, respect and equality of opportunity for all employees from the moment they join us and throughout their employment with regards to: recruitment, learning and development, appraisal, performance management, recognition, and promotion and leaving.

We also strive for fairness, respect and equality of opportunity for our service users, young people, partners and suppliers in the actions we and they take in connection with us.
