MK College Offender Learning Employment Academy team turned into adrenaline junkies to celebrate the momentous achievement of helping over 200 learners into real and sustainable employment.
Ann Marie Conlon-Taylor, Head of Employer Engagement, MK College Offender Learning said, ”Following a team meeting at the College, where we were planning our next Employment Academies for the upcoming academic year, we headed to iFly, Milton Keynes for an indoor skydiving team experience. Trevor from iFly, and our instructor Ted, were bowled over by the hard work and dedication of the Employment Academy team, and, after putting us through our paces, took to social media to say how impressed they were with our achievement.
“What an experience it was! It was great fun, and really enjoyed by the whole team.
As we move into the next academic year, the team remains focused on enabling more of our learners to achieve real and sustainable employment post release. And who knows, maybe we will all go outdoor skydiving, (yes, out of a plane!) when we hit the next 200.”
