Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (9 months fixed term Maternity Cover)
Salary: £14,910 - £19,525 pro rata, per annum

HMP Featherstone’s education department have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide maternity cover as a Student Support Administrator. You will be supporting our student as a member of our Milton Keynes College Offender Learning education team.
As a successful candidate you will be responsible for all general administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the education department. The Purpose of your role as Student Support Administrator is to be responsible for all general administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the education department, providing support to the Education Manager and education team, supporting student success through initial inductions and initial assessments. You will ensure students are enrolled onto appropriate programmes of learning and act as part of the examination invigilation team.

HMP Featherstone is a Category C, male, aged 21+ training prison located in Wolverhampton. The last OFSTED inspection was graded as a 2. The education department work closely with the prison and other providers and career services to create a pathway for prisoners to focus on and work towards, to achieve an end goal and be ready for transfer or release and employment.
