Milton Keynes College is working in partnership with HMYOI Aylesbury to put education at the heart of the prison system.
We are looking for an experienced Hospitality & Catering lecturer to deliver up to Level 3 Hospitality including Level 1 Introduction to the Hospitality Industry to a diverse group of learners within the prison. As part of our Offender Learning team you will help to develop a strong Hospitality & Catering programme that meets the needs of the learners, prison and Milton Keynes College.
The course covers a variety of routes such as catering, food service and the hospitality industry as a whole; helping our learners to discover many different aspects of the Hospitality industry and gain valuable practical and teamwork skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated education professional to deliver high learner success through effective teaching and delivery in Hospitality & Catering from Level 1 – Level 3. This vacancy would suit a highly motivated Hospitality & Catering teacher, with a can do approach to education. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative lecturer, who can thrive upon working within a challenging yet rewarding environment, who can offer skills & knowledge to our learners and guide them throughout their courses.

HMYOI Aylesbury is a prison housing young prisoners aged 18-21, all-serving long sentences. The Education Department works closely with our prison colleagues to deliver medium to long courses that help prepare learners for employment upon release.
