HMPYOI Brinsford’s education team have a new opportunity for an experienced Inclusion Worker to join their Milton Keynes College Offender Learning team. As Inclusion Worker, you would provide excellent support and advice to our learners; through mentoring sessions which include 1:1’s and/or small group sessions.
You will develop and deliver training that deals with various elements of personal and social development while working with our partners to provide correct signposting for our learners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills with experience supporting learners with challenging behaviour and developing / delivering training. You will be confident in building strong rapport with a variety of different people and be able to show your initiative, enthusiasm and motivation towards supporting and developing others.

HMP/YOI Brinsford is a Category C adult male prison as well as a young adult’s institute. The Education Department works closely with prison colleagues to deliver relevant courses from Entry Level to Level 2 that help prepare learners for employment upon release. We are proud to boast the Interserve Academy in Industrial Cleaning; the Academy was set up in partnership with Interserve to support young adults to develop employability skills and gain qualifications leading to employment with the company on release.
