HMP Nottingham’s education department are holding an Offender Education Careers Event to recruit experienced Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas) lecturers / tutors to deliver Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas) to a diverse group of learners within the prison. As a Lecturer within our Milton Keynes College Offender Learning team you will help to develop a strong Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas) programme that meets the needs of the learners, prison and Milton Keynes College. While also being motivated to develop progression opportunities for the learners within the Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas) industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas) lecturer / tutor to deliver high learner success, through effective teaching and delivery in Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas). This vacancy would suit a highly-motivated Construction (Plastering/Bricklaying/Vocational Areas) tutor, with a can-do approach to education. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative lecturer, who can thrive upon working within a challenging yet rewarding environment, who can offer skills & knowledge to our learners and guide them throughout their courses.
Milton Keynes College: Rewards
HMP Nottingham is a reception prison for prisoners sentenced or remanded in custody at Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield and Derby courts. HMP Nottingham acts as a feeder prison for a number of other prisons across both the public and private estate. In the education department, we believe the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge will help our learners to end their offending behaviour. We engage the hardest to reach learners and encourage them to take pride in their own education and self-development. As a department, we endeavour to inspire learners to achieve.
